Raahgiri Utsav will be organized from Chandni Chowk Town Hall to Gurdwara Sheeshganj Sahib on Sunday. In this, painting competition, puppet show, yoga, dance, awareness program on road safety and other activities will be organized. Organized in collaboration with MCD, Delhi Police, Raahgiri Foundation, FIA Foundation, PMNCH and Nagro Sangathan, a large number of people will participate. Raahgiri is organized under the series of G-20 events. In this, suggestions will be taken by presenting the works of civic agencies to the people to promote transportation, reduce air pollution and promote safe roads.
Traffic will be closed till 9 am
Chandni Chowk road will be completely closed for vehicular movement from 6 am to 9 am during Raahgiri Divas celebration and the entire area will be converted into a low carbon emission zone to provide a space for people to walk, cycle and do various activities. Provide a safe and comfortable environment.
These events will be held
Sports, painting, puppet show, yoga, dance, road safety awareness programme, motivational speech and many other fun activities will be organized. The corporation invites people to join the celebration and be a part of the efforts to make the national capital a safe, inclusive and accessible city for all.
